About Me.
Why hello there. Thanks for visiting. Since we don't know each other yet, let me tell you some things about myself so we can get to know each other better.
To know me is to know that I have a huge passion for sports, the outdoors, traveling, art, coffee, Anderson Cooper (weird, I know) and marketing. Now, I know what you are thinking – of course a marketing professional says that she has a passion for marketing! I promise you, this is not lip service. I am very passionate about marketing. You see, for years I tried to fight this passion by aligning my college studies with a more “practical” focus of concentration that had become a family tradition. Translation: I thought I would become a nurse like my mother. If you knew me, this might make you chuckle. I can’t even watch actors pretend to be injured on screen. Also, there were early signs of my creative nature– lots of drawing, doodling, “inventing”, more drawing, and one big imagination that simply could not be ignored. So, after several college nursing courses, a couple of months working in a hospital, and a huge newfound respect for nurses (and my mother), I decided to follow my passions and give business marketing a shot. After 15+ years in the industry, I have never looked back. Everyday this industry offers me a new creative challenge that feeds my inner marketing nerd. Plus, I am constantly surrounded by highly creative people who share in my passion. I am one happy camper. |
